Loaves and Fishes rescues food and delivers it to local organizations that serve people facing hunger. Refrigerated trucks are essential to moving that food safely.
Why we CHOSE TO FUND THEM
We have supported Loaves and Fishes’ day-to-day work through general operating grants. When we learned that its delivery fleet was aging, we saw a need the organization had not asked us to fund.
We purchased a new refrigerated truck to help Loaves and Fishes move more food reliably. The gift grew out of an ongoing relationship and a conversation about what would help the organization do more of its work.
